18th March 2020 - COVID-19 implications for CCIAM business operations

Following our previous correspondence on precautionary measures we are taking to mitigate the impact of COVID-19, we wish to advise that we are extending our work from home protocols to all our teams over the coming days. Given the evolving nature of the pandemic, we anticipate this method of working may potentially occur for some time. As a result, we are asking our clients to continue to use alternative ways of meeting with our staff, in place of face-to-face meetings.

This action aligns with the Australian Government Department of Health's recommendations, to adopt behaviours to prevent further risk of transmission or exposure to the virus.

As an organisation, we have carefully prepared for this inevitability well ahead of time. We want to ensure the ongoing safety and health of our staff and clients, and those who work in collaboration with the broader Catholic community across the country to ensure we are there when you need us most. We remain committed to serving all of our clients in their important work in schools, parishes, aged care residences, and welfare centres.

As a reminder, the Australian Government has mandated that a person who has travelled internationally or who has come into direct contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case must self-quarantine for a period of 14 days upon first contact or arrival home.

The national Coronavirus Health Information Line is open 24/7 for advice on 1800 020 080. If you require translating or interpreting services, call 131 450. If your symptoms are serious and you have difficulty breathing call 000 for urgent help.

Going forward, you can expect minimal disruption to how we manage your investment portfolio. We will continue to provide regular updates and topical discussion through our website, and at www.cciassetmanagement.org.au

If you have concerns or questions in relation to the above or regarding the management of your investment portfolio during this time, please contact David Smith, National Business Development Manager directly on (03) 9934 3077 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
